After patching the game up to version 1.60 you have to download another file, it's a patched S3.exe you'll need in order to run the game. Download the following file: and extract the S3.exe file to the game directory, overwrite and try again. Thnx a lot man!!

Been looking for a working patch for ages. Im using the original cd iso's using settlers 3 gold.

I am on win7 64bit, o onstalled from disc2, then did the patch as u said, hey presto!worked 1st time!
