I've reinstalled a game onto windows 8 pro which I had on windows 8 release preview. It worked fine before, and when I tried to start it the first time, it said I had a missing dll, which was fine, so I downloaded it and extracted into the sys64 folder. I then tried to open the game again. This time I got this error: 'The ordinal 42 could not be located in the dynamic link library C: WINDOWS SYSTEM32 xlive.dll.' The live programme I suspect the xlive.dll is referring to is microsoft games. I've also downloaded xlive.dll and extracted it into SYSTEM32, and it didn't work, I just got the same error message. The error message appears as soon as I click on the game.

Hopefully I've supplied enough information. Please help:(. Hi Ricky, Thank you for sharing your query on Microsoft Community Forum! Thank you for providing and gathering information for this issue.
